This Fox Duo-Lite Avon rod has been designed for traditional Avon style fishing for Chub and Barbel and is hugely versatile.
This 12ft rod comes with a solid 1lb top section and a 3/4lb quiver tip section that takes 4 interchangeable quivers. The beauty of this Fox rod is that it copes comfortably with a variety of methods from free lining bread crust through to rolling meat, trotting maggots or just static feeder fishing.
Although softer in the top section, the middle and butt section has a surprising amount of power in reserve allowing the rod to be used for medium sized Barbel in snaggy situations. The rod can also be used on Stillwater’s when targeting Tench and bream on the feeder or even large perch on small live baits.
A fantastic all round and versatile rod that will appeal to the discerning angler.
