Shimano's stunning new Ultegra Ci4 XSA is made from Ci4 material, a reinforced carbon fibre, over 1.5 times stronger than normal XT-7 graphite and more than 20% lighter. Impervious to rust due to Ci4 not containing any metal, Shimano have been able to design an extremely strong yet lightweight reel that runs at very precise tolerances.
Other features include an oversized power roller, maintenance port, super stopper II, Aerowrap II, Floating shaft II, Instant drag system and a cold forged aluminium spool including one spare on all new models. Gear ratio of 4.3:1, line capacity of 330 yards of 16lb line and an overall weight of 620g.
