With a pedigree taken from Daiwa's infamous Tournament reels, the Linear X BR features an integral BR mechanism with a spool stroke the same size as the TS5000T but at a much more compact range of spool diameters. Employing Daiwa's positive and safer 'pull back' lever to engage the BR mechanism and the tension aduster situated at the rear for easy accessability, The front drag promises direct and acurate control via the 6 Teflon impregnated washers, coil spring and micro adjustment mechanism, something that Daiwa's reels are synonymous with.
Other features include an enhanced, patented line clip, digigear, eight ball bearings, infinite anti-reverse, extended spool stroke on reduced spool diameter, geared down ratio for higher power conversion, a double handle with easi-grip, free spare spool and an amazing retrieve of 89cm per turn of the handle!
