Shimano’s latest Baitrunner, the XTE-A, designed for the angler that demands the best. The Super Baitrunner features many improvements over its predecessors. For example, the high end tension setting has now been increased to withstand fast flowing rivers or fishing in snaggy situations, finer tuning of the drag through the improved larger drag knob, improved baitrunner release to ensure faster connection to a running fish and latest generation gearing, oscillation and drag systems.
Utilising an easy access maintenance port prolongs the longevity, and maintains the high performance of the XTE-A’s internal workings, whilst the 2-speed oscillation line lay and Aero Wrap feature guarantee longer, more accurate casts.
