The ‘Icon’ was designed to be an entry level rod in the Hutchinson range. It still boasts an impressive specification with high quality finishing and components throughout. At 13ft, it is an exceptional casting tool, with the ability to put leads or PVA bags long distances. The tip is still soft enough to prevent hook pulls at close quarters, yet retains plenty of power in reserve to bully fish away from dangerous situations.
The rod features cutting edge design with classy stainless caps, and strong triple legged guides, making for an exceptional rod for the price conscious angler. Although powerful, the blank is still lightweight making casting and fish playing a joy.
