Making a contract with us
When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order.
Once we have checked the price and availability of the goods, we will e-mail you again to confirm that we accept your order, and that a contract has been made between us.
We will not take payment from you until we have accepted your order.
In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, or that we have made a pricing mistake, we will advise you of this. You will not receive an e-mail confirming acceptance of your order, and there will be no contract between us.
If the goods are not available, we may supply you with substitute goods. If you decide not to accept the substitute goods, you will not have to pay to return them to us.
How to place order
Placing an order with Tackle Fanatics couldn’t be easier. If ordering goods online just select the items you wish to purchase and add them to your shopping cart. Then simply enter checkout and follow the easy step by step guide that will take you through the payment process (you will need to first register on the website to enable you to use this function).
If ordering over the phone the just state the reference number of the item/s you would like to order and a member of staff will take you through the order process. If you order an item incorrectly just call our helpline and a member of staff will make the necessary amendments to your order.
Delivery and Charges
Items
Items ordered before 2.00 pm are sent by overnight courier for next working day delivery. Orders placed after 2.00 pm are dispatched the following day.
Friday dispatches are delivered on Monday.
Please be aware that deliveries to certain postcodes - eg to the Scottish Highlands – can take a little longer. Please see below for details.
Delivery charge
The delivery charge to most UK addresses is £6.99 – regardless of the number of items you are ordering. So if along with your rods you fancy some terminal tackle, a reel, some fishing wear or even a bivvy or any other item on the Tackle Fanatics site – the overnight delivery charge of £6.99 remains the same.
If the goods are lost or damaged in transit, please let us know promptly.
Customers wishing to part-exchange tackle will be entitled to free collection of their old tackle and free delivery on their new tackle!
All orders made for frozen baits on Friday will not be dispatched until the following Monday due to the perishable nature of the product. This is to ensure your bait arrives with you in the very best condition.
Cancellation and returns
This policy does not apply to the following goods, which are exempt from the right to cancel:
All Frozen baits and any shelf life baits that have been opened and unsealed including particles, pellets, dips, pastes etc. Any shelf life baits that have not been opened or have not had the seal or packaging opened or damaged in any way will be accepted back for a return subject to inspection by a member of Tackle Fanatics.
No returns will be accepted on terminal tackle unless a manufacturing fault is present or if the packaging has been damaged or the product has been used in any way. Terminal tackle that has been unopened and unused will be accepted back as a return subject to inspection by a member of the Tackle Fanatics.
You can cancel your contract at any time up to 7 working days after the day of delivery. To do this, please e-mail or write to us.
You do not have to give any reason for cancellation. However, a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer to customers in the future.
If you cancel, you must return the goods to us at your own expense.
You must ensure that the goods are packaged adequately to protect against damage.
If you fail to return the goods, we will collect them, and we will charge you the direct cost of collection.
If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration, we will charge you for the reduction in value.
This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights — for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.
Faulty goods
If there is a problem with the goods, please contact us. We will deal with the matter in accordance with your legal rights.

Changes to these terms
These terms were last changed on 20/6/2011.
These terms apply to your order.
We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply to future orders.
